Just as every human being needs a safe refuge from which to launch their hopes and dreams, every family needs healthy, supportive, loving relationships.
But in a world designed for Neurotypical people, Autistic and otherwise Neurodivergent children, parents, partners, and other loved ones have to contend with more than their share of challenges. That makes everything harder.
Rooted in hundreds of #ActuallyAutistic perspectives, along with extensive personal experience as an Autistic person and the parent in a highly intersectional and Neurodiverse family, I offer several tools for families, including:
