Empowering Neurodivergence, evolving inclusion.

Welcome.

I’m Jennifer Elizabeth Brunton, Ph.D. I’m a proudly Autistic writer, consultant, speaker, editor, artist, and mom who’s passionate about making the world a better place for all, with a focus on Autistic and otherwise Neurodivergent people.

I specialize in advising Autism-friendly cultural, practical, environmental, and strategic adjustments for the betterment of organizations, professionals, and families, as well as for personal progress.

Consulting and speaking clients have included the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Columbia University, Bryn Mawr College, and Franklin Academy, along with numerous public libraries. I ‘ve also worked with some of the most impactful organizations in publishing (like Forbes and Random House), business (including Content Innovo, Guidehouse, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Pegasystems), and nonprofits (such as Autism Connections, Pathlight, and The Exoneration Project).

My consulting, writing, and public speaking work are informed by my prior career as a college professor and my education at Bryn Mawr (B.A., cum laude) and Columbia (Ph.D.), which shaped me into a rigorous yet creative thinker and a passionate champion of justice. And as the former owner of several successful businesses, including a real estate management company and yoga centers in New York City and Vermont, I understand businesses large and small.

I bring this wide-ranging expertise—and my whole heart—to every project.

I believe we are ALL valuable, integral members of the human community. Each and every one of us is worthy of respect and love, full of wonderful potential, and capable of charting our own path to success.

I rely on these fundamental truths to:

  • Empower people (individuals, families, and other groups) to envision their healthiest, strongest, most rewarding path forward.

  • Help professionals and organizations practice neuro-affirming, disability-friendly, proactive acceptance, inclusion, and universal design.

My processes are based on key principles and other tools developed from my own education and experiences, as well as on hundreds of other #ActuallyAutistic perspectives.

I’ve made it my business to help organizations (such as corporations, schools, and libraries), professionals (teachers, therapists, etc.), families, and individuals chart pathways to greater understanding, harmony, growth, and well-being in Neurodiverse contexts—to the benefit of all involved.
